Mission
The Abbeville County Economic Development Partnership serves as the Economic and Industrial Recruitment Arm of Abbeville County, South Carolina.
The Board was chartered in 1953 as the Abbeville County Research, Planning & Development Board. The Board was restructured to a public/private entity and named the Abbeville County Economic Development Partnership in 2016.
The Abbeville County Economic Development Partnership is responsible for generating new capital investment and job creation in Abbeville County. The Abbeville County Economic Development Partnership assists clients with site selection and development, workforce recruitment, information management and incentives. The Abbeville County Economic Development Partnership is comprised of Community and Business leaders that desire to make Abbeville County prosper. An Executive Director and Project/Office Manager handle the day to day responsibilities.

Jane Hannah

Jane Hannah has extensive development experience. A native of Denmark, S.C., Hannah earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Education from Clemson University, and she is a graduate of the S.C. Economic Developers’ School. She previously worked as a soil conservationist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service and as an agricultural science teacher at Hillcrest High School in Simpsonville, S.C.
Hannah completed the Basic Economic Development Course at Georgia Tech, and she is a member of the S.C. Economic Developers Association.
Hannah and her husband, Chuck, have a son, Parker, and daughter, Kate.
